Meet our Brazen Brood! We are a Veteran-Owned family business with big hearts and big dreams!  We began making natural products for our family in 2011 and eventually gave them to friends and co-workers to try. We started sharing our much-loved products with the public in 2017.

We believe that our bodies deserve nurturing care, free from harmful chemicals and damaging toxins. Unfortunately, these toxins are all around us. They are in our food, in the air we breathe, in the water we drink, in many of the medicines we take, and lurking in the products we use to clean our homes and our bodies. Many of the products we use today are saturated with synthetic scents, chemical additives, and preservatives just to name a few. You won't find any of those in our products though! 

Over 10 years ago, I set out to eliminate these toxins from my family's bodies and our home. While it may be near impossible to control every aspect of toxin exposure in our lives, there are some things we have control over. Since then, I have been creating natural products that are safe, effective, and affordable for my family and I am excited to share them with you and your family too!

Our natural products were designed with holistic health in mind. Lots of love and consideration goes into selecting each and every ingredient in our products. Further, we list all ingredients so that you know what is going onto or in your body and why it is an ingredient! We have a wide range of natural health and hygiene products for the whole family. Body, beard, beauty, and baby needs alike, we have you covered!

We believe in the power of nature! The world has so much to offer, and while we humans are pretty amazing, nature is pretty phenomenal too! We believe you can heal, support, and protect yourself with naturally derived earth elements as God intended. From our humble beginnings to your health at home, we want to leave a positive impact on humanity, be it large or small!

***A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SOME OF OUR COLORS:*** 
While we strive to use only natural and earth derived ingredients, we make one exception for some of our more colorful products. We use mineral based mica and/or nature identical synthetic mica, which means it has the same chemical structure that is found in nature and can be regulated, making it purer than some mined natural mica. Some of these mica, but not all, have been tinted with lab produced dye. Here's why we make an exception when it comes to this one ingredient: while we like to use botanical colorants, and we do when we can, some natural colorants do not react well, or lose their color once a product is made. For this reason we substitute certain colors to achieve a desired effect. Some naturally occurring pigment and oxide colors can contain heavy metals such as lead and cadmium, which can cause negative health effects. Furthermore, some naturally mined micas have been linked to child labor, which cannot always be verified easily through some suppliers. For all of these reasons we feel that this exception is a better alternative for our products! 

ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING:
Our products are hand crafted in small batches for quality control. We use a VERY limited amount of recyclable BPA-free plastic, and instead strive for a completely eco-friendly product line packaged in plant-based plastics, glass, metal, and cardboard, which are all biodegradable. Please remember, always recycle, reduce, and reuse when possible!

SHELF LIFE OF NATURAL PRODUCTS:
Because natural products do not contain chemical or synthetic preservatives, their shelf life may be shorter than other conventional products. However, many of the ingredients that we use have varying anti-microbial properties, which naturally assists in prolonging shelf life. Our products are good for at least 1 year from the production date, unless otherwise noted. Separation of natural oils, butters, and waxes can occur, but this does not necessarily mean a product has gone rancid. When in doubt, the nose usually knows! Smells funny? Toss it! Or email us for further guidance!
